At the side of the volunteer forest firefighters was the H.M.S.T.E. with the M.A.S., which ensured that forest firefighting materials were purchased and distributed to three different groups.

Specifically, the Megarit Volunteer Group, the Association of Volunteer Rescuers - Forest Firefighters of Elymnia and the Selected Special Missions Group of Greece, which have been steadily assisting in civil protection issues, but suffered serious damage to equipment during the fires of the summer of 2021, were reinforced with items they needed in order to continue their work unhindered.

The M.A.S. by decision of the E.S. on 10/08/2021 contacted the leaders of each team and asked them to send a list of their needs, with the clarification of any specifications of materials.

So:

In support of the Megariton Volunteer Team, the following were purchased:

• One Electrogenerator
• A base telecommunications station
• Five yaesou portable radios
• Two chainsaws

The material was delivered to the team's president, Chrysa Pantou, who gave a letter of thanks to the M.A.S., while the donation was publicized by the team in the M.K.D. and in local media.

To support the team of the Association of Volunteer Rescuers - Forest Firefighters of Elymnia, the following were purchased:

• A mobile fire extinguishing station with water pumping capability.
• 10 full body waterproof safety suits

Finally, a second-hand Volvo XC90 model XC90 silver car was purchased for the Elite Special Missions Group of Greece, which will be used for the patrols of the members of the Association in forest areas.
